Eight stones stand on this lot. At the very front are 2 flat stones (REESE). Just behind them is a row of 3 footstones inscribed HENRY, FATHER, PAUL Henry and Paul were victims of General Slocum disaster June 15 1904. It appears that Paul Sr and wife Wife Wilhelmine purchased this lot following that tragic event, and moved other lost children and family members for reburial here on July 10, 1904. At the back of the lot, not easily visible in the photo, are two small stones that are, unfortunately, barely legible.

This stone is almost completely illegible, but at the very bottom can be discerned the German text “Gestorben 8 Feb 1914.” That suffices to identify the stone as a memorial for Henry Port (1829-1914), probably the father of Paul C. Port, Sr.

This stone is completely illegible. It may have been moved here from the previous graves of those (other than the 2 Slocum victims) buried here July 10 1904.
