Mr. Mansfield spent many years at the old T. J. Britton drugstore at Elm and Akard, established soon after the turn of the century. He was born in Syracuse, N. Y., the son of Major William Q. Mansfield and Hetta Crocker Mansfield. When a young man he went to Chicago where he lived before coming to Dallas.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Henry E. Croft of Dallas.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a. m. Monday in the Lamar & Smith Chapel by the Rev. Charles L. Street. Burial will be in Oak Cliff Cemetery.
