Andrew C. Gaydos, 91, of Glassport, died Sunday, September 12, 2010, in John J. Kane Regional Center. He was born August 5, 1919, in McKeesport, son of the late John and Mary (Iszak) Gaydos and husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Jambor) Gaydos. He served in the Navy in the Pacific Operation during World War II. He retired from Day Chevrolet (formerly Beryl Chevrolet) and was a body shop foreman. He was a lifetime member of Reliance Hose Co. No. 2 where he served as fire police and Citizen's Hose Co. No. 1. He was a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish in Glassport. Andy enjoyed working with wood, home projects and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter Sara Elizabeth Foster; siblings John, William, Louis, Emil and Mary Harbert.
