James N. "Jimmy" Banks, 69, of De'sha Road, Tappahannock, VA, departed this life September 16, 2010, at his residence.
He is survived by one daughter, Pamela Banks Bell (Marvin) of Richmond, one son Michael Banks(Sharon) and one brother Robert "Bobby" Banks (Jean) both of Tappahannock.' Five grandchildren: Jamien Banks, Jaytwaun Banks, Jamar Banks, Tierrar Bell and Marcus Bell.
Visitation was Sunday, September 19, 2010, at Washington Funeral Home 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., where family received friends.
Funeral services were held Monday September 20, 2010, at St. John Baptist Church De'Sha, Virginia. Rev. Linwood Jones, pastor officiated.
Interment in the church cemetery.
