Peggy was the daughter of Harry and Ada Swayze Mays. She attended school in Howe, Idaho and Clover Park High School in Tacoma, Washington. She Graduated from Butte High School in Arco Idaho. She met her husband while working as a secretary for Westinghouse at AEC. She married Tom Gray in 1959 Idaho Falss and they lived there and their son Scott was born there in 1961. They moved to Pittsburgh where Sally and Sherry were born. She is survived by her husband, and children, her mother Ada McAffee Her sister Maxine and Adaruth and a brother Jack Mays of Howe.
