Mrs. Clara Miller

ADA, Aug. 10 - Mrs. Clara Alice LaRue Miller, 79, formerly of Ada, died at 7:55 a.m. Thursday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Orville Cook, Route 2, Carey, after a short illness.

Born June 20, 1872, in Lafayette, she was a member of the Ada Methodist church.

Surviving are two sons, Donald E. LaRue and Ross LaRue, both of Ada; three daughters, Mrs. Wava Firestone, Ada; Mrs. Helen McGonigle, Lafayette, Ind.; Mrs. Cook; two brothers, William Downard, Toledo, and Frank Downard, Hibbing, Minn.; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The body will remain in the Lantz funeral home for services at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Raymond Beals will officiate. Burial will be in Ada Woodlawn cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Saturday.

After the death of her first husband, Edward La Rue, she remarried to an unknown Mr. MIller.
