She was born Saturday, September 17, 1923 in Bryan county to Angus M. and Lona Frances (Annai) Giles. She married Charlie F. Barkley September 1938 in Denison, Texas. She was a member of the Colbert First Baptist Church. She was retired from Pillsbury Company, a former member of the Eastern Star nad enjoyed playing the piano, arranging flowers and was very artistic.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and other brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her brother Bill Giles, Colbert, and sisters Fern Bush, Denison, Texas, Lorene Garvin, Elmore City, Oklahoma, Louise Hannan, Colbert, Joann Korbelic, Wylie, Texas and Donella Baecht, Savoy, Texas.
