Funeral Services Held Monday for Mrs. Mary Ann West
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m Monday at the Bellwood Methodist Church for Mrs. Mary Ann West, 86, a former Bellwood resident who died in Denver.
The Rev. M. Commack officiated and burial was in Bellwood cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim West, Roy Bock, Frank Bock Jr., Ronald Jacobs, Gary Cady, and Vern Beierle.
Mrs. West, daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Bock was born near Bellwood on March 5, 1877.
On Dec 12, 1897 she was married to John Frankland West and they had two children. J. Cloyd, now of Denver, and the late Bessie M. Bernard.
Besides her son, she is survived by two grandchildren, Barbara Ann and Stephen Bernard of Garden Grove, California; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Beierle of David City and Mrs. Carrie Drawbridge of North Loop; two brothers, Frank Bock of Bellwood and George Bock of Tacoma, Washington.
Mrs. West had been living in Denver almost eight years, and for the last two years she resided at the Florence Nightingale nursing home.
