Pfc. Marvin Miller, 21, R.R.1, Muncie, died February 20 of wounds received in combat in South Vietnam, according to word received Sunday. Miller was a machine gunner with Company C,1st Battalion, of the 28th Infantry Division.

A graduate of Eaton High School, he was employed by Shuttleworth Building Contractor before joining the Army in June, 1967. He was married to the former Jackie Schenck of Muncie last October 25. He was a member of Eaton Church of the Brethren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mildred Miller, Eaton; his father, Sam Miller, Alexandria; one brother, Earl Miller, Gaston; a grandfather, Forrest Hiatt, R.R.1, Muncie; and a grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Miller, Alexandria.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Union Grove Church, near Eaton. Rev. Eldon L. Morehouse will officiate. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Mausoleum, March 12, 1968. Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
