Wanda Fields, 83, of Batesville died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at White River Medical Center.

She was born Wednesday, December 8, 1926 at Cave City and was the daughter of Leander and Zula (Smith) Woolridge.

Wanda retired from White Rogers as an assembly line worker. She loved her family and friends, cooking on the holidays and caring for her garden. One of her favorite pastimes was going to yard sales.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Rick Ring of Keller, Texas; Blaine Ring of Russellville, Arkansas; Jeremy Ring of Euless, Texas; and Caitlin Ring also of Keller.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coats Fields and one son, Rickey Ring.

Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Roller-Crouch Chapel with Rev. Patrick Hancock officiating.

Burial will follow the services at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.

Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
