GALLAGHER, Cletus A. 82, of Pinellas Park, passed away on Aug. 20, 2010. He was born Dec. 5, 1927, in Crosby, ND to William B. and Helen (Seipp) Gallagher. Cletus worked for the Benedictine sisters at the hospital in Crosby doing farm work while in high school. He entered the Navy at the age of 17. Cletus served in the Navy during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He retired June 30,1975, after 30 years of service. He married Ruth James on May 29, 1962, in Norfolk, VA. Cletus was preceded in death by his parents; wife, and brothers Charles, Emmanuel, Anthony, Daniel and infant baby Bernard. He is survived by his sister Winnafred Gallagher Marx (Albert) of Proctor, MN; brothers James of Richardton, ND, Joseph (Lucille) of Minot, ND and Vincent (Betty) of Yuma, CO. The family is grateful to his guardian, Mrs. Dempsey for providing care in his home and neighbor Rose Fairbanks for her friendship during his long illness.
