BUSHNELL — Arthur Blagden, 69, died Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ilene Waller of Bushnell. He had been in failing health several years.

Mr. Blagden was born at Leaman June 10, 1884, and his marriage to Jessie Rutledge took place Jan. 6, 1904. She preceded him in death March 12, 1927.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Gladys Pickel of Avon, Mrs. Bernus Osborn, Mrs. Helen Drury and Mrs. Ilene Waller, all of Bushnell, Mrs. Irene White of Prairie City and Mrs. Barbara Dilts of Farmington; four sons, Leland and Cloyd of Bushnell, Robert of Pekin and Harold of Prairie City; two brothers, Harvey of Des Moines, la., and Harry of Montezuma, la. ; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Kirk of Montezuma, la., and Mrs. Cordia Thompson of Kirkwood, la., 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Point Pleasant Church and burial will be in the Point Pleasant Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Craycraft Funeral Home until the time of services. The family asks that flowers be omitted.
