Funeral arrangements for Dudley Dickerson, baggage man for the Rock Island, had not been completed today. He died yesterday afternoon at his home following a stroke yesterday about noon. The body is being held at the Fletcher Undertaking Parlor.
Dickerson had lived in Chickasha more than 40 years and for many years was employed at the Rock Island. His friends say he obtained one of the first marriage license issued in Chickasha. He organized the colored Masonic lodge in Chickasha. His widow, four daughters, two sons and two sisters survive him.
