My Beloved Aunt... Milly was the daughter of Ernest Hanks and Laurieanne F Hanks (Levesque). She was born in Monroe,New Hampshire on March 16, 1931. Milly was a sickly baby and for the first days of her life she was kept by the oven door for warmth. Milly survived and went on to play sports. Basketball was one of her favorites. Milly was a great fan of The Boston Red Sox and never missed a game! She had two daughters; Karen Anne and Sandra Lee St Jean. Sadly both girls passed away before their parents. Sandy passed away on Feb. 4th, 1972, age 13. and Karen when she was 37. I don't think my Aunt ever got over these heartaches but she went on. She loved children and for a few years worked as a 1st grade teacher's aide. The children adored her! We spent all of the holidays together and always ended up playing Hearts-she was good! Everyone loved her...especially me.
