Rev. Henry Povall was the son of John and Sarah Povall. Ann (Lyon) Povall was his 1st wife. They were married Chester, England 1851 and she died about 1863. Mary Lloyd Povall was his 2nd wife. They were married Liverpool, England 1865. He immigrated to America May 21, 1878. He was a physician. He also served as a Local Preacher in the Genesee (now Western New York) Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church 1882-1892 - ordained Deacon at Rochester, New York in 1884.

Dr. Henry Povall, a prominent physician of Mount Morris, New York, died Monday evening, aged sixty-five years.
