2. CHARLES Alexander Turley
born Jan. 6, 1816 in Hardy, VA
died April 8, 1880 in Houston, TX
1st wife: Virginia Guerrant Smith
2nd wife: Sarah Elizabeth Spurier
3. WILLIAM C. Turley born abt 1835
4. SAMUEL Turley born abt 1837
5. JAMES O. Turley born abt 1839
There is some confusion regarding two of Frances' sons: Charles Alexander Turley born January 6, 1816 and John Alexander Turley born June 1, 1816. Information for Charles' d.o.b. came from a family tree found on Ancestry.com. John's d.o.b. came from Ohio Obit Index. If the boys were twins, I am inclined to believe that they were born on June 1.
