Mrs. Minnie Cornwell Steadman, 58, Kingport, Route 5, died Monday morning at a Knoxville hospital. she was born in Washington County and had been a resident of Sullivan County for a number of years. Her husband, Alfred Steadman, died in 1955. She attended the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. M. M. Chase, of Kingsport; two brothers, Hugh Cornwell of Fordtown, and Richard Cornwell, Waynetown, ind.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fordtown Baptist Church, the Rev. W. J. Mercer and the Rev. Beldon Smith will officiate.
Burial will be in the Fordtown Cemetery.
The body will remain at Carter-Clamon Funeral Home.
