Ball; sons Alfred of Lakeland, FL and James of Knoxville; daughters Mrs. Carolyn Vineyard and Mrs. Mary Jane Cunningham both of Knoxville; sister Mrs. George Ellison of Jefferson City; brother C.W. Hammer of Knoxville. Funeral 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Stevens Chapel, 1304 Oglewood at Broadway. D.C. Hammer and Rev. Orville Valentine officiating. Interment Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Mortuary 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday.
