Humphries, Richard M. "Dick" Born on December 23, 1928, forever in the arms of his angels, Wed., Oct. 20. 2010. Beloved husband of the late Jaradine "Jerry" Humphries (nee Kuntz) and the late Bette L. Humphries (nee Dosing; loving father of Richard (Janey) Humphries, Mary Lynn (Linda Pinsker) Humphries, Ellen (Mike Sanchez) Humphries, Edward (Jennifer) Humphries, Steve (Gina) Humphries; dearest grandfather of Karlean, Kyli, Jessica, Richard, Betsy, Kelly, Amber, Edward, Timothy and Zachary; dearest great-grandfather of Jared, Katherine, Anissa, Kaylee, Makayla and Cathal "Ike". Myrna Newby, a dearly loved friend of Richard. Dad was a graduate of CBC High School and the University of Rolla, School of Engineering, a veteran of WWII and Korea, member of the VFW Post 4105, Knights of Columbus, as well as the past president of the Nu-Voice Club of St. Louis. Dad was a 20+ year laryngeal cancer survivor. His love and sense of humor will always be cherished and will live for always in our hearts. Services: Visitation will be held for Richard on Sunday, from 3-5 p.m. at Archway Memorial Chapel, 111 Taylor, Hazelwood, MO 63042. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Catholic Church, 1210 Paddock Dr. 63033 (MEET AT CHURCH). Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Dad requested that contributions be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor, 3224 N. Florissant Ave., St. Louis, MO 63107.
