FRANKIE LEE ZIKES, 58, of Aurora, Colorado, former longtime resident of Texas City, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010, at Mainland Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 27, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the Bryan City Cemetery in Bryan, Texas. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 26, at the funeral home.
Mr. Zikes was born July 19, 1952 in Bryan, Texas. He was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Parker, Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Eloise Zikes.
Survivors include his sisters Diane Zikes and Beverly Henke and husband David; uncle Charlie Zikes, aunts Lottie Jones and husband Ralph and Pauline Brown; nephews Bradley and Steve Henke; other relatives and friends.
