Dorothy Powell Petrie dies
Mrs. Dorothy Loraine Powell Petrie, aged 18, wife of James Petrie of Milton, died this morning at St. Anthony's hospital following a two month illness. She was born in Linn county and lived in Pendleton for 13 years, later living in Milton. Besides her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Ida Powell of Pendleton, her father George Powell of Linn county and a brother George Powell, Jr. of Pendleton. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 pm from the Folsom chapel with Rev. William Fairweather, pastor of the Baptist church officiation.
