Mrs. Alda Satterfield, 85, formerly of Muncie, died Wednesday at St. Petersburg, Fla., following an extended illness.
Mrs. Satterfield was a native of West Virginia and had lived in Muncie for 40 years before moving to Florida four years ago. She was a member of the East 23rd Street Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Surviving are four sons, Dana and Gerald Satterfield, both of Muncie, Albert, St. Petersburg, and Sherman of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Velda Weaver, St. Petersburg; and 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Parson Mortuary with Rev. Paul Brown and Rev. David Rutherford officiating. Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Sunday.
