The 1900 census says that Sarah was born in Mar 1836.

Sarah was the 2nd wife of William J. Mayfield; they married about 1857. The 1900 census says she was the mother of 12 children, 9 of whom were still living, but I've only been able to identify 10 children for her: Rhoda F., Louisa J., James Frank, Joseph Morris, Fannie, Ada "Addie", Olive/Olivia, Richard, Gertrude, and William J.
