Age 67, went home to be with his Savior, on October 9, 2010. He was the beloved husband to Gail L. Tietz, wonderful father to Janet, Mark (Esther), and Jonathan (Kathleen), caring brother to David (Angela) Tietz, Susan (Neal) Kropff, and Kathryn (James) Treece, and fun-loving grandpa to Jadon, Nathan, Steven, Gabriela, and Kaylee. Ron was a teaching elder at Bethel Bible Church and dearly loved by all. He was a teacher for 36 years at Bethel Park High School retiring in 2002. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road (Lebanon Church Rd.), Pleasant Hills. A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am at Browns Hill Bible Chapel, 3349 Beechwood Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15217. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life's Key (Prison Ministry) or Wycliffe Bible Translators by mailing it to Bethel Bible Church, 3025 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.
