Michelle S. Ruel, of Burlington Township, N.J., lost her six-year battle with brain cancer on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Center, Mount Holly, N.J. She was 32.

Born in Willingboro, N.J., she was the beloved daughter of Gary and Patricia Ruel of Burlington Township, and loving sister of Amber and her husband, Ernie, of Ewing, N.J.

She also is survived by her two nieces and nephew, Brielle, Gianna and Jordan, all of Ewing; her maternal grandmother, Rona Miller of Windsor Locks, Conn.; her paternal grandmother, Marie Ruel of Marlton, N.J.; her six aunts, Deborah of Enfield, Conn., Brenda of Enfield, Conn., Marie of Windsor Locks, Conn., Judy of Enfield, Conn., Nancy of Marlton, N.J., and Susan of Medford, N.J.; her Uncle Thomas of Saudi Arabia; and also 11 first cousins and countless friends and loved ones.

Michelle was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Joseph Miller and her paternal grandfather William Ruel

Michelle was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School and Rowan University and was employed by the Burlington County Coat Factory in Burlington, N.J.

Known for her sense of humor and smile, she loved and enjoyed life and those around her loved her personality and her practical jokes.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 9 a.m. Tuesday at BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mount Holly Road, Medford, N.J., (609-953-7600). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Corpus Christi Church, 63 Sylvan Lane, Willingboro, N.J. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Burlington, N.J.
