As "Father of the Astrodome", he created the concept of domed stadiums and luxury boxes. Briefly owned Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. He is buried at Glenwood Cemetery, the marker at Forest Park Westheimer is actually a cenotaph.
