Actor. Born Hiroshi Takahashi, he began his acting career at the New Tsukiji Theatre and continued work at the Japan Mobile Theatre and at Toho Co. Ltd, the Japanese film, theatre production and distribution company. His live action roles include "The Men Who Tread on the Tiger's Tail", and "Four Love Stories." Moving into voice-over work, he contributed to seven anime features, including "Galaxy Express 999" both the television and movie productions. Some of the actors he provided Japanese dub work for include Burt Lancaster, Robert Fuller, Leonard Nimoy, Eddie Albert, Laurence Oliver, Dana Andrews, James Mason and Jason Robards. Wanting to improve the lives of all actors, he was a senior managing director of the Japan Performers Association, Commissioner for Cultural Affairs and Vice President of the Cooperative Japan Actors Union.
