Services for Raymond F. Jordan, 63, 201 Moore Dr., are pending at Denton Funeral Home. He died Feb. 15 at Guadalupe Medical Center.
He was born in Saline County, Ill., on Dec. 8, 1925, and grew up there. He moved to Carlsbad in 1954 and worked as a mechanic for Duval Potash Co., retiring in 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jordan, Carlsbad; one son, Gary D. Jordan, Hobbs; two daughters, Vickie Kirkes and Debra Smith, both of Carlsbad; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers include Charlie Black, Floyd Reich, LeRoy Payne, Zora Cook, William Cook and Felix Veilleux.
