Believe he was married to Sallie N. Bourland on July 12, 1898 in Morgan County. It appears she died before the 1910 census. She may have died sometime after June in 1904 in St. Louis. Based on a note about her mother, Mrs. M. J. Bourland visiting St. Louis to visit her daughter, Mrs. R. A. Duncan who was seriously ill at the time.
Survived by three children: Leslie ., Harvey, and Florence; three brothers: W. W. Duncan of Franklin, H. G. Duncan of Franklin, and Claude Duncan of Jacksonville; and three sisters: Mrs. Maude Rees of Franklin , Lou Duncan of Franklin, and Mrs. W. J. Sheppard of Litchfield.
