Mr. and Mrs. Royer, and two daughters, the Misses Ellen and Etta Royer, arrived at this city on Saturday evening last, with the hope of spending a weeks vacation among their relatives and friends in this City and County, of which both are former residents, they having moved to Baltimore about 3 years ago.
While visiting Mr. Royer's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Harris, near Frizellburg, Mrs. Royer was taken ill, as above stated and before a physician who was summoned at once, arrived.
The funeral will take place at Meadow Branch Church where interment will be made, this Saturday morning, meeting at the residence of Mr. John E. Little, on Liberty street at 10 o'clock.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters above named, to mourn her untimely death. Mr. and Mrs. Royer were former residents of this city, and moved from here to Baltimore several years ago. Mr. Royer is a son of the venerable Mr. Christian Royer, of this city. The family have the sympathy of the community for their loss.
The following will act as pallbearers: Messrs. David J. Young, Charles E. Royer, Jesse Royer, Ira J. Young, J.E. Stoner and S.C. Stoner, all first cousins of the deceased.
