Mrs. Sarah L. Martin, who for the past years has made her home with her son, Charles Martin, No. 120 (110?) West Tenth street, died at her son's home this week, her age at the time of death being 88 years. Death came as a direct result of a fall which Mrs. Martin sustained January 5, when one of the bones in her thigh was broken.
She leaves four sons and a brother in Vermont, who is 103 years of age, and who, as a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church, still delivers sermons. On his 102nd birthday anniversary, he preached before a large number of his townsmen.
The body of Mrs. Martin was laid to rest in the Rosedale cemetery.
