Albert Nutter dies at sisters home, Albert Nutter former Alton Man died last night about 8:15 at the house of his sister Mrs. Julius Anderson, in Wood River, where he had been making his home. Nutter was 58 years old and was the son of Harrison Nutter who many years ago operated a Flour Mill in the old Mill Building at the corner of Broadway and Washington Avenue, the family lived on Shields Street while residing in Alton. Funeral, arrangements were incomplete today

Death takes eight in this community during past week, sudden change in weather causes much sickness throughout district, colds and Grippe predominate, one death each day of the New Year and two today in this community is the record thus far in 1929,the changing weather conditions have caused much illness in the community through, but one death recorded seems to have been the direct result of the winter weather.
Albert C. Nutter, brother of Mrs. Julius Anderson of First Street, died suddenly in the home of his brother- in-law Thursday evening, he was 58 years of age, and was born in Macoupin county, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Nutter and resided in Alton for forty years, Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending on the arrival of relatives, services will be held from the Streeter Funeral home in Upper Alton.
