Florian Addie Parker (Lee), 92, a longtime resident of Annapolis, died of heart complications October 27 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

She was born May 5, 1918 in San Antonio, Texas to George and Elizabeth Parker. Florian met Fred L. Walker Jr. at West Point and they married October 9, 1937. They moved to Honolulu, Hawaii in early 1941 and resided at Scoffield Barracks when, on December 7, 1941 Pearl Harbor was bombed. Fred was called to duty and Florian was left to prepare for possible gunfire at the home. Later that day, wives and children were evacuated and driven into the mountains as there was concern about further attacks. In March 1942 Cissie was transferred in an unescorted passenger ship to San Francisco, California while her husband stayed behind for reassignment to the European Theater. Florian later divorced from Fred Jr. and married Benjamin Solomon Lee, a journalist from St. Louis, Mo.

She was a volunteer nurse's aide in Fort Benning, Georgia. during World War II and again in the 1960s and 70s at Glendale Hospital in Bowie.
