Harry E. "Bud" Landers Jr., 59, 529 S. Gharkey St., died Monday evening in Ball Memorial Hospital.

A lifelong resident of Muncie, he attended city schools and had worked for over 24 years at Delco Battery. Mr. Landers was a shop steward and committeeman for the UAW at Delco Battery. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; four sons, Jeff Landers, Robby Landers, and Shane Landers, all of Muncie, and Terry Landers, Las Vegas, Nev.; six daughters, Sherri Hall, Sue Landers, and Bonita Landers, all of Las Vegas, Nev., and Roxanna Youngblood, Marsha Landers, and Sheila Dugger, all of Hartville, Mo.; two brothers, Robert and Gale Landers, both of Muncie; four sisters, Becky Landers, Peggy Whited, Mary Vincent, and Carolyn Clark, all of Muncie; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
