Mrs. Gerbing was born to Gus and Mildred Emborg in Kingsburgh, Calif. She first came to Klamath Falls in 1955 with her husband Col. Thomas M. Gerbing, who was stationed at the Kingsley Air Base. Mrs. Gerbing was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Harriman Fire Department in Rocky Point. She was also a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Klamath Falls and the Pius X Catholic Church in Tucson. She enjoyed fishing, golf and living in Rocky Point.
Survivors include her sister, Genevieve DeLeon of Austin, Texas; nieces, Darcy and Diane DeLeon of Tucson; and a nephew, Gavo DeLeon of Tucson.
