Berniece Biller Hensley, 70, Harrisonburg, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at her home.
A daughter of the late Leo B. Sr. and Martha Pauline Mathias Biller, she was born Feb. 23, 1931, in Rockingham County. She lived her entire life in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County area.
Mrs. Hensley was an employee of Williamson Hughes Pharmacy for 43 years. She was a member of Mount Olivet Church of the Brethren in Timberville.
On April 25, 1972, she married Donnie R. Hensley, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Marie "Snookie" Smouse, Grottoes; one son, Larry E. Biller, New York; two grandsons, John A. Smouse, Grottoes and Christopher A. Smouse, Harrisonburg; a very special grandson; one stepson, Robert "Bobby" Hensley, McGaheysville; two stepdaughters, Donna Yager, Elkton, and Denise Newlon, Hampton; four stepgrandsons; two stepgranddaughters; two brothers, Leo B. Biller Jr., Harrisonburg, and William F. Biller, Timberville; four sisters, Helen E. Biller, Patricia B. Turner, Beverly L. Stayner and Mary Lee Dean, all of Harrisonburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hensley was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore M. Biller, on July 18, 1992.
The Rev. Robert Roller will conduct the at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the funeral home or at any time on Monday at her home.
