US Congressman. Elected to represent Colorado's 2nd District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1959 to 1961. Also served in the Colorado General Assembly, 1955-1957. Delegate to the 1960 and 1968 Democratic National Conventions. Retired from the University of Colorado at Denver as a professor of economics.
