Barbara (Majek) Crout, age 68, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010 in Yoakum, Texas.
Mrs. Crout was born on September 24, 1942 in Jarrell, Texas.
Mrs. Crout lived most of her life in Corpus Christi but had been living in Yoakum, Texas for almost 2 years. She retired from C.C.I.S.D. as a cafeteria Supervisor. She loved to crochet and make kolaches.
Mrs. Crout is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Crout and her mother Vlasta Majek.
She is survived by three daughters & spouses; one daughter; her father; three brothers& spouses; sister & spouse; seven grandchildren; numerous other nieces; nephews; Aunts & Uncles.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Seaside Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening in the Seaside Chapel.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2010 in the Seaside Chapel.
Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
