Rhoda Long was the daughter of Thomas
Long and Caroline 'Smith' Long. She
was the granddaughter of Moses Long
and Rhoda 'Atchley' Long. Also the
Smith's.

She worked her way through Mossie Creek
College at Jefferson City, Tennessee.
Rhoda worked very hard putting herself
through school, her mother wasn't
able to help her and at this time, her
father, Thomas had died. She taught
school for several years in Tennessee.
Later Rhoda moved to Texas and taught
school.
Rhoda never married, and was a Baptist.
