John Russell Keeley

The Rev. Jim Graves will conduct a graveside service for John Russell Keeley at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Sterling Community Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Sillin Funeral Home, Sterling.

Mr. Keeley, a retire farmer, died Friday, April 23, 1999, at his home in Lyons at the age of 68.

Born Novmber 8, 1930, in Sterling to Ray J. and Wilma Russell Keeley, he married Betty Jean Hartle. She died September 19, 1993

He had lived in Lyons for two years since moving from Sterling, and was a graduate of Alden High School and a member of the United Methodist Church of Alden.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Richardson of South Hutchinson and Melissa Adams of Orlando, FLa.; a sister, Jackie Riggs of Sterling; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Wade.

Memorial gifts may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
