Betty L. David Hubbard Pollock, 66, of Danville died at 7:05 a.m. Friday (Aug. 2, 2002) at home.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. today at Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West St., Georgetown. The Rev. Albert Jones and the Rev. James Jones Jr. will officiate.

Mrs. Pollock was born Jan. 16, 1936, at Paris, Ill., a daughter of Claude and Ruth Melton David. She first married Fred Hubbard, and later married Donald Pollock. He died in 1993.

Survivors include a son, Fred Randall Hubbard of Westville; a daughter, Karen Hubbard of Marshall, Ind.; two stepsons, Bruce Pollock of Danville and Larry Pollock of Jacksonville; two stepdaughters, Cindy Neuby of Jacksonville and Linda Chute of Marco Island, Fla.; two sisters, Jane Hubbard of Tilton and Clara Miller of Danville; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two grandchildren, five brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Pollock was a nurse's aide, a foster grandparent and a volunteer for the Victim's Witness Program. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, bird-watching and collecting Betty Boop items.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
