Mrs. Susie Howell, 21 years, died in a Monroe hospital, 7 P.M. Saturday and funeral services were held the following day at the Welcome Home cemetery near Grayson where interment was made. Rev. Johnnie Walker, who is pastor of the Clarks Pentecostal church, had charge of the services. The funeral was under the direction of the Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

She is survived by her husband, Archie Howell; and a son, J. A. Howell and daughter, Doris Howell. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Nancy Beaver of Pollock; three sisters, Mrs. Lessie Roberts, and Mrs. Bessie Cooper of Holum; Miss Estelle Beaver of Pollock; 5 brothers, Houston Beaver, Willie Beaver, Floyd Beaver, Ellis Beaver and Huey Beaver, all residents of Pollock.

Pallbearers were Mr. Kees, Ed Reeves, Herman Bratton, Harvy Watson, Jimmie Bingamin and R. C. Craft.
