G.B. Story Heart Attack Victim In Eakly Home 16th
Final rites for G.B. Story, 70, were in the Eakly Assembly of God church at 2 p.m. Saturday. Story died suddenly Wednesday night, March 16, in his home in Eakly when stricken with a heart attack. Altho he had not been in good health for some time, his condition was not considered dangerous. Rev. Harry King conducted the service and burial was in the Eakly cemetery.
General Bradley Story was born near Dallas, Texas, March 12, 1879, where he grew to manhood and married. He came with his family to Oklahoma, first locating near Gracemont and Anadarko. About 20 years ago he moved to a farm near Colony and six years ago moved to Eakly to make his home.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. G.B. Story; five daughters, Mrs. Clara Bond, Alfalfa; Mrs. Bertha Chapman; Mrs. Lois Snow, Eakly; Jane Story, Yukon, and Mrs. Lena Bryant, Terrell, Texas, and one son, Louis Story, Carnegie. A brother, Emil Story, Ardmore, also survives. besides members of his family, other relatives from a distance here for the service were a cousin, Dick Story, and his two sons from Dallas.
