GOSHEN — Mary F. Adams, 97, died at her daughter's home early Wednesday morning, May 7.
She was born July 29, 1916, in Kosciusko County to Howard and Gertrude (Leech) Ball. On Oct. 20, 1934, she married Leo W. Adams. He died in 1996.
She is survived by a daughter, Laura (Leslie) Haney of Goshen; two sons, Howard (Kathy) of Houston and Thomas (Beckie) Adams of Yorktown; a daughter-in-law, Paula Adams of Jimtown; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Donald; a granddaughter, Beth Ann Adams; and two sisters, Beatrice Griffith and Florence Smith.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where there will be a 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, funeral service. Pastoral assistant Pamela Kling of First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Akron Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis, Goshen Care at Home Hospice or First United Methodist Church in Goshen.
