Mrs. Hopkins was born February 22, 1888 in Panic, the daughter of Crist and Margaret Brown Kessler. She was married to Thomas W. Hopkins who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hopkins was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Knoxdale and the Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving relatives include: one son, Tim Hopkins, Knoxdale; four daughters: Mrs. Alton (Venice) Shaffer, Grove City; Mrs. Ira (Minerva) Plyler, New Castle; Mrs. Miles (Lulu) Swineford, Brookville; Mrs. Cecil (Jean) Plotner, Knoxdale; 15 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters and one sister.
Friends will be received all day Tuesday in the Terry L. Beamer _Funeral Home in Brookville where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Calvin Sheppard will officiate and interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
