Clarence E. Biggs, of Moffat, Colo., died Wednesday at a local hospital. He owned and operated a filling station in Moffat for many years, retiring in 1948.
Mr. Biggs was born in Cheyenne County, Kan., March 19, 1894, a son of the late John W. and Rhoda Collins Biggs. He moved with his parents to the San Luis Valley in 1910. Because of failing health he made his home the past year with his daughter, Mrs. Oliver H. (Thelma) Bader, 1421 N. Center, Colorado Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Vandruff Biggs; a son, Kenneth Biggs, Moffat, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Bader, Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Henry (Maycelle) Elliott, Hayward, Calif.; seven grandchildren and other relatives.
