He was married to Betty McCall for 55 years.
He graduated from Tech High School and American University, served in the United States NAVY as a dental technician on the U. S. S. Boxer during the Korean War and was employed in the printing industry in Washington, for many years.
He served as an elder at Riverdale Presbyterian Church in College Park, Md., and the Old Presbyterian Meeting House in Alexander, Va.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty McCall, a daughter, Susan Savell and son, Scott E. Sibley; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010, at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Brevard, North Carolina with Dr. Andrew Silman officiating.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
Interment will follow at a later date in Rock Creek Cemetery, in Washington, D. C.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Missions at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, 645 Bert Lane Road, Brevard, N. C. 28712.
