Rev. Egerton Ryerson Young was the son of Rev. William and Amanda (Waldron) Young. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Bingham) Young. They were married December 25, 1857. Elizabeth died in 1934. Rev. Young was a Canadian Methodist minister - ordained April 7, 1840. He and his wife, Elizabeth were missionaries among the Indian tribes in the North-West territories.
