Dorothy was the daughter of Alvin Wright and Hazel "Roxie" Sinclair/St. Clair of Dubois County, Indiana. Mother Roxie used both spellings of her maiden name throughout her lifetime.
Dorothy was the sister of Alvin Guido Wright, Arnold Wright, Raymond Wright and half-sister of Uleva Fuesler Norman Collins. Dorothy and her sister Uleva spent much of their childhood living with their Sinclair grandparents on the farm outside of Birdseye, Indiana.
Dorothy married James O Faulkenberg and they were the parents of Walter E., Steven Wayne, Terry L., Mary Ann, Gary and James R. Faulkenberg.
Her son Steven died in Iraq during the occupation.
Dorothy was the granddaughter of Gilbert Elwood Sinclair and Anna Belle Sigler of Dubois County, Indiana and of Lee H. Wright and Emily "Emma" Etta Mitchell of Crawford County, Indiana.
She was the great-granddaughter of George W. Sinclair Jr., and Nancy Hollowell and of George Washington Siglerand Nancy M. Keysacker of Dubois and Crawford Counties, Indiana.
Great-great granddaughter of George Washington Sinclair Sr. and Lucinda Cosby; Isaac W. Sigler and Martha Jane Davis; William Keysacker and Elizabeth Bullock.

Dorothy B. Faulkenburg, 80, Lebanon Junction, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at North Audubon Hospital, Louisville.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Brooks, Lebanon Junction; and four sons, Walter Faulkenburg, Huntingburg, Ind., James Faulkenburg, Lebanon Junction, Terry Faulkenburg, Ohio County, and Jerry Faulkenburg, Pomaria, S.C.
The funeral was 11 a.m. Mnday at Kappel Funeral Home, Lebanon Junction, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Mount Washington. The Rev. Mike Rodgers officated.
Kappel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
