Elizabeth Reed Foster Goodell Sexton was the daughter of Major Reuben and Tamsin Meacham Reed of Warren, MA. Her first husband, Rev. Daniel Foster, was a Revolutionary War Patriot, who died in 1795 at the young age of 45. She next married Squire Abel Goodell (Goodale) and moved from New Braintree to Monson, MA. After her second husband died, she married Joseph Sexton of Monson, MA.

Both Maj. Reuben and Tamsin Meacham Reed died in Warren, Worcester, MA. There is a "Reed Road" south of Warren where the old family farm and family homesteads were located. Maj. Reuben Reed served in numerous battles during the Revolutionary War, most notably, the Lexington Alarm. When not fighting for American Freedom, he was a school teacher and farmer in Warren, Worchester, MA.
